Jason Riveiro

Jason Riveiro leads Multicultural Marketing for The Sherwin-Williams Company. With over 3,500 stores, Jason oversees strategy aimed at increasing B2B and B2C transactions in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Previously, Jason managed LaVERDAD Marketing & Media’s public and media relations department. His responsibilities included the development and implementation of Hispanic outreach strategy for clients like Toyota Motor North American and State Farm Insurance. Through his efforts, clients received coverage in some of the nation’s most important media outlets including CNN Español, Telemundo and EFE America. Jason has devoted much time as a volunteer for many non-for-profit organizations including those serving the Hispanic population. Jason represented the oldest and largest Hispanic civil rights organization in the country, LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens), by serving as its Ohio State Director and as the founding past President of the Cincinnati chapter. Under his leadership, LULAC has obtained over $500,000 to fund educational programs across the country. In addition, Jason lead the campaign to bring the 2011 LULAC National Convention to Cincinnati, Ohio which brought over 19,000 attendees and over $3 million dollars in revenue to the city from out of town visitors. Jason has also served on several boards including: U.S. Global Leadership Coalition; The City of Cincinnati’s Human Relations Commission; The Brighton Community Center Board of Directors; WCPO-TV’s Community Advisory Board; Clear Channel’s Community Advisory Board; LULAC National Civil Rights Commission; the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority Board of Trustees; the Cincinnati Art Museum Advisory Committee; Cincinnati Agenda 360 Inclusion Team; Pittsburgh Pirates Diversity Advisory Board; and the LULAC National Education Service Centers (LNESC) Board of Directors. Some of the awards granted to Jason are: New Power 35, Cincinnati Magazine; Emerging TriState Business, Cincy Magazine; Champion Award, Cincinnati USA Convention and Visitors Bureau; Power 100, Cincy Magazine; The Top 40 under 40 by the Cincinnati Business Courier; Person of the Year by CityBeat Magazine; the NAACP Freedom Fighter Award and the Distinguished Hispanic Ohioan Award. A native of Houston Texas, Jason was born to a Colombian mother and Venezuelan father. Jason spent 10 years living in México in cities like Torreon, Mazatlan, Tepic and Tijuana to then go back to his native Houston to complete his professional studies. Jason is a resident of Shaker Heights in Cleveland, Ohio since 2005 where he lives with his wife, Hannah, and their 22 month old, Conrad. Jason is currently completing his MBA from Xavier University and holds a bachelors degree in International Studies and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. Jason has also completed graduate courses in International Politics from the Universidad de San Pablo in Madrid, Spain.
