Jose is not your typical agency principal. He did not work in advertising before launching Sensis. Instead, he got his start as a business analyst and technologist. It is this perspective that informed his vision for the Sensis: leveraging technology to bring analytical rigor to the advertising business. A thought-leader in multicultural advertising, Jose has been at the forefront of a new cross-cultural approach to marketing that factors multicultural insights into general market campaigns.

Prior to Sensis, he was the founder of the pioneering Hispanic dot com TuRumbo.com. He started his professional career as a management consultant with Mitchell Madison Group. A serial entrepreneur since age 9, Sensis is the latest in a long line of ventures.

Jose has an Economics degree from Harvard University and an MBA from the Wharton School. He is a regular industry speaker and contributor to MediaPost and his blog ThinkMulticultural.com — providing his unique insights and often-controversial predictions on the future of advertising at the intersection of digital and cultural transformation.
