Latino CyberGuy

 Jose Vargas Ulloa is the “Latino CyberGuy”, providing clients inside access to the Latino Tech Market in Spanish/English TV, Radio and Social media in the United States. Mr. Ulloa has worked in the broadcast industry for over 25 years beginning as a Radio news reporter for KIIS AM/FM under the Gannett Corporation. He was sought out for his talents and recruited to work for Univision Television Network in their Sales & Marketing departments. Mr. Ulloa helped create the Network Traffic Department and was an Ombudsman to over 100 affiliates.


In 1990 he formed “Latinos2010”, a multimedia Tech Business Consultant agency. He has consulted to the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, SBA, HP, Logitech, Kodak, Microsoft, Sony, RadioShack, Citibank, and Sprint. He has worked with many non-profit organizations including the National Council of La Raza, the US Hispanic Chamber and Hispanicize


In 1994 he created a joint venture with Form-a-Vision Multimedia and launched the first Electronic Chamber of Commerce. It was an on-line business computer BBS for NAFTA. The Electronic Chamber of Commerce was selected by Microsoft in June of 1995 to become a content provider on the Microsoft 95 On-line Network (MSN). 


In 1997 Jose joined the DirecTV Broadcast Operations Traffic group in Long Beach, CA. and was cross trained in various broadcast operation positions from master  control to camera operator.


In 1999 Mr. Ulloa was the Latino Y2k consultant in the United States for the Small Business Administration and toured major cities presenting seminars and information on the millennium bug.


Mr. Ulloa was the Spanish Tech spokesperson for the Digital TV Transition for Time Warner Cable on TV & Radio presenting seminars and hands on demonstrations in Department stores.


Mr. Ulloa was the 2007 Microsoft national spokesperson in Spanish for the “Vida Digital Latina” launch of the new OS software “Vista “.


Mr. Ulloa in 2010 was selected to be the Spanish Spokesperson for SPRINT phones in TV & Social Media. In

2011 Metro-PCS sought Mr. Ulloa to be there Back to School spokesperson in Spanish Media.


Jose Vargas Ulloa was the computer “Live” On-Air personality in Spanish for the U.S. “Radio Visa Network” and the “W” 690am Spanish radio in Los Angeles – Mexico, with a Technology call in Q& A show. 


The Latino Cyberguy was a freelance featured Tech spokesperson for Univision’s LA west coast morning news show in Spanish for 4 years on, “Primera Edicion”. The Latino Cyberguy appears frequently on a variety of Radio & Spanish TV stations in Los Angeles; CH27 KNLA Central America News, Ch22 Mega TV  Miami, Ch57 LATV, and including livestreaming segments on the Pulse Network.


The Latino Cyberguy hosted a 5 minute segment called “TechnoMundo” twice a week on the Telemundo Network for 2 years on the local morning Spanish show called, “De Todo un Poco”. The Latino Cyberguy has appeared nationally on Azteca America network for 1 year in Spanish on the TV morning show “Bienvenidos a Casa”. Currently Mr. Ulloa is on the MundoFox Network in LA presenting a “live demo” Tech segment weekly for Ch22 news and a 3 minute Taped segment on the latest in Technology in the Morning show


LCG  is also featured on the “MYFox11” GDLA English morning show as the “Latino Cyberguy” once a quarter


Jose Ulloa’s educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara and Certificate of International Trade from California State University, Long Beach.
