Olenka Polak, 20, is the co-founder of myLINGO, a new smartphone app that will revolutionize the way moviegoers enjoy films, and that will be launched with the Spanish audio track for the highly-anticipated bio pic, CESAR CHAVEZ, available in theaters March 28.

She was named one of the Ten Teens to Watch in 2010 by Greenwich Magazine, a “Woman to Watch” in 2014 by Massachusetts High Technology, and a “Forbes 30 under 30” in Media in 2014.

Olenka left Harvard College in her third year in order to pursue launching her media and technology company, myLINGO app. She was an A.B. Degree Candidate in Economics and Secondary Field Candidate in Visual and Environmental Studies.

She started the company as a resident at the Harvard Innovation Lab and sat on the board of the Harvard College Entrepreneurship Forum. Olenka represented the College as the only undergraduate among Harvard Business School founders in the Women’s Founders Forum sponsored by HBS Professor Janet Kraus in 2012-2013.

She was also a student of the Engineering Sciences track under the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard as well as a Stage 1 speaker at the Seed2Sequoia program at the Cambridge Innovation Center.
