Ricardo Hurtado

Hispanic Media, LLC
President/CEO

Ricardo Hurtado, publisher of El Sol Newspapers, is a communications expert and media owner-operator in four cities, spanning two countries. His relatively rapid rise to prominence keeps him moving up and down the East Coast of the United States, between Philadelphia and Miami, with side trips to visit his newspaper offices in Colombia, South America. His expansion of El Sol into Miami’s Hispanic market is only a year old and already it has become a respected news and advertising vehicle there. With offices in Philadelphia, Miami, Wilmington and Colombia, his parent company, Hispanic Media, has become a recognized voice in the industry and is much more than just a print media company. Their diversified portfolio of communications initiatives include: planning and producing business conferences, staging product promotions events, on-line and social media marketing plus print media campaigns. Hurtado’s plan to unite communities and cities along the East Coast also creates a network of coverage and connections, fortified by El Sol’s web presence at  ElSoln1.com

When the prestigious major metro, award-winning daily newspaper, The Philadelphia Inquirer needed expertise on the Hispanic market – they featured Ricardo Hurtado in their in-depth article, quoting him extensively.

“We lead the way in providing information on many levels,” Hurtado says. “We are always searching for and creating innovations in business and contributing to the education of Hispanics in the areas we serve.”

“During my 20 years of dedication to the newspaper and Hispanic media industry, our company has met some strong challenges and goals. We have partnered with key corporations to help them promote their products and services. One of our major accomplishments came about in 2006 while collaborating with  the television sports network, ESPN. They reached out to us, and we were able to help them establish their operations in Mexico City. As a result, we printed and distributed a football magazine in Mexico City, one of the largest cities in the world.

We have also worked with the National Council of La Raza [NCLR] at various conferences, helping them with their outreach to the Hispanic community. They are the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States. We have worked with NCLR  in Los Angeles, Chicago, New Orleans, Miami and Philadelphia.

Our company has also promoted and sponsored top entertainment festivals in the Philadelphia metropolitan area bringing an average of 15, 000 people together. We also promote and produce a concert series with presentations in Philadelphia, Atlantic City and Washington, D.C.

These are only a few of our achievements figuring prominently on the national scene. With every new day and every advance in technology, we look forward to expanding our network of connections, friends, readers and viewers throughout the United States and South America.”
