Muy Bueno Cookbook
Yvette is a mother, wife, author, graphic designer, food blogger, vlogger, and recipe developer in Denver, Colorado. She was raised in El Paso, Texas and draws culinary inspiration from her grandmother's old-world northern Mexican recipes and her mother's comforting south of the border home-style dishes.

Yvette combined her passion for Mexican food with her graphic design talent to create MuyBuenoCookbook.com to catalog her family's recipes. Muy Bueno has received several online accolades, including Top 100 Food Bloggers of 2013 by Babble.com, Best Food Blogs of 2013 by The Latin Kitchen, and Yvette was most recently named one of the Latina Bloggers You Must Know in 2014 by Latina magazine.

Her cookbook Muy Bueno: Three Generations of Authentic Mexican Flavor, written with her sister Veronica and mother Evangelina, was a 2013 Benjamin Franklin Silver Award Winner. Muy Bueno: Tres Generaciones de Auténtico Sabor Mexicano (Spanish Edition) will be published April 2014.

Yvette now works as a brand ambassador for California Strawberries and Princess House, a regular contributor to Parade.com, and recipe developer for Betty Crocker, Clabber Girl, and KitchenAid.

In 2012, Yvette’s proudest moment was when she participated in an intimate round-table discussion with First Lady Michelle Obama, to discuss some of the issues impacting Hispanic families across the nation, including the health and future of children.
